Weather Update: Closures & Delayed Openings

Due to weather conditions, the following county health departments will be CLOSED on Monday, January 26, 2026:

• Wilkes County
• Warren County
• Glascock County
• Lincoln County
• Taliaferro County
• McDuffie County
• Jefferson County

The following locations will have a DELAYED OPENING on Monday, January 26, opening at 10:00 AM:

• Laney Walker Health Department
• South Augusta Health Department
• Columbia County Health Department
• District Offices

Taliaferro County Health Department will have a DELAYED OPENING on Tuesday, January 27, opening at 10:00 AM.

Georgia DPH confirms a measles case in a baby infected during international travel (Coastal Health District). Measles can linger in the air up to 2 hours. Symptoms: fever/cough/runny nose/watery eyes → rash. Call ahead before seeking care.
