If you've been downtown lately, you may have noticed a few new pops of color! The Dept. of Public Art recently started their work to beautify our downtown with the installation of murals on downtown utility boxes.

The City of Binghamton Utility Box Project is made possible with public funds from the Statewide Community Regrants Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the Governor’s Office and the New York State Legislature, and administered by The Earlville Opera House. Additional support for the Broome SCR Program graciously provided by the Stewart W. and Willma C. Hoyt Foundation, Inc.

With recent business expansions, relocations, and grand openings to celebrate, Downtown is on a roll, and this weekend is a great time to see it for yourself.

- The Upstate Apothecary is celebrating their grand opening/rebrand on Gorgeous Washington Street.

- Oblivion: Piercing I Jewelry I Tattoos I Rarities has a new home right next door to perennial favorite Strange Brew NY.

- After Five and Istanbul BBQ are bringing new dining options to Court Street.

Public parking is available in the Hawley Street and Water Street garages, or consider a ride share option like Uber and Lyft.

News from Binghamton New York Pizzeria!

Attention New York Pizzeria family!

As most of you know, due to the acquisition of the Binghamton Plaza we are officially moving to a new location less than a mile away. There are still three days left for you to stop by for one last slice and reminisce at the old stomping grounds through July 25th.

We are incredibly grateful to our community for all the support you’ve shown us throughout the years and we can’t wait to reopen at our new location in early August.

Free parking is back!

Every Saturday in July parking in our municipal parking garages and lots is FREE! Take advantage of free parking and beautiful weather to enjoy all downtown has to offer.

Note that free parking is only available in the Collier Street Parking Lot, the Hawley Street Parking Garage, and the Water Street Parking Garage.
