Welcome to our page! Discover Mill Creek MetroParks, the first park district in Ohio.

From the casual visitor to the local explorer, Mill Creek MetroParks offers a natural escape for the enjoyment of all ages. Mill Creek Park is the largest area of the MetroParks encompassing over 2,658 acres of the MetroParks’ 5,000+ acres. 👻🔦 Haunted Mill? in the Dark of the Night

Is Lanterman's Mill haunted? Join Park staff and a local paranormal group to investigate the mill in the dark of night and decide for yourself. Lanterns will guide your path during your visit.

🔞 Adults only; 18 and up.

Celebrate, Gather, and Make Memories in a Beautiful Garden Setting!

The Margaret Cushwa Education Building, located within the Anthony J. Fox Family Foundation Children’s Garden at Fellows Riverside Gardens, is now available for rental! Serving as the gateway to the Children’s Garden, this welcoming space provides an inspiring setting for any event or gathering.

The building features a classroom with seating for up to 40 guests and is heated for year-round comfort. Sliding glass doors allow the space to open to the outdoors, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and the beauty of the surrounding gardens. Guests can also enjoy the Anthony J. Fox Family Foundation Children’s Garden, with Fellows Riverside Gardens just a short walk away. Both gardens are open to the public.

Fishing in the Park

Join us at the MetroParks Farm for a fun evening of fishing! This outing is primarily for youth anglers ages 3-12 years old and will take place at the MetroParks Farm Fishing Pond off the spur trail. Fishing equipment and bait is provided for all registered youth participants. A valid fishing license is required for participants 16+ years old.

Park Wanderings: End of Season Trolley

Join Educator Miss Lynn for Park Wanderings. This month let's wander the Park on an end-season-trolley tour on the Cohasset Express. Meet at Ford Nature Center, 840 Old Furnace Rd. Dress for the weather as the trolley has no heat. No walk-ins. No pets. $5 per person.

Creature in the Spotlight: Bats

This month, Ford Nature Center’s Creature in the Spotlight is Bats!
Bats are pest-control superheroes. A single insect-eating bat can eat hundreds or even thousands of insects in one night, depending on the species.

Beginning Monday, October 26, 2026, East Glacier Drive in Mill Creek Park, near Glenwood Avenue, will close for road improvements and resurfacing.

Volney Rogers Field will remain open and accessible from the upper parking lot off Glenwood Avenue. The lower parking lot along East Glacier Drive will be closed for the duration of the project.

Fellows Drive, which is currently closed, will also be resurfaced as part of the project. To accommodate construction activities and equipment, the northern portion of the Fellows Riverside Gardens parking lot will be closed.

Planned improvements include milling the existing asphalt surface, installing a new asphalt overlay, and placing compacted aggregate along the road shoulders.

Construction is expected to take approximately two weeks, weather permitting.

Squirrel Walk & Talk

Learn all about the lives and biology of Ohio's squirrels. Take a hike with a Park Educator in the Bears Den area of the park to search for evidence of the squirrel species that call Mill Creek Park home. ~1.5 mi. Moderate difficulty. Registration required. No walk-ins. No pets. Free.
