Looking for weekend plans? Don't miss a weekend full of fun at Cross Ranch State Park June 12th and 13th.

Talkin Trees Friday June 12th at 7:30pm at the amphitheater
Spend your evening at the amphitheater learning all about trees. We will be making nature journals and adding tree bark and leaf rubbings to our journal.

Tricky Tree Troubles on Saturday June 13th at 11am at the amphitheater
Come to learn about the pests and diseases that can affect trees. Learn about how to keep trees healthy and then make DIY tree faces!

North Dakota Trees Saturday June 13th at 2pm at the amphitheater
Learn all about the tree and shrub species of North Dakota and what makes them so special. At the end we will be playing tree games

Tree Hike Saturday June 13th at 4:30pm meet at the Visitors Center
Join us for an afternoon hike where we find and look at some of the amazing trees Cross Ranch has. This hike will be around an hour long.

Cross Ranch State Park is hiring a full-time Park Ranger to help keep the park safe, welcoming, and running smoothly. This hands-on role blends facility maintenance, visitor assistance, rule enforcement, and team support to ensure a high-quality experience for all.

On-site housing is provided as part of this role, and the Park Ranger is expected to reside within the park while on call/duty to support operational needs. Other benefits include fully funded healthcare coverage for you and your family, and peace officer training (if not already certified) provided and paid for by the state.

Fish of ND on Friday June 5th the amphitheater at 7:30 pm. Come join us to learn all about fish breeds of North Dakota. Included will be a create your own fish craft!

Create your own Fishing Lure on Saturday June 6th at the amphitheater at 11am. Join us to learn more about the types of fishing lures and the use of each kind. Then create your own fishing lure!

Learn to fish on Saturday June 6th join us at the Sanger boat ramp from 3pm to 4:30pm. Come learn to fish with Cross Ranch! Fishing poles and lures will be provided! Join us for this fun afternoon!

Fishy Games on Saturday June 6th join us at the amphitheater at 7:00pm. Come down to the amphitheater to join us in playing a variety of fish games while learning fun fish facts!

All About Pollinators on Friday May 29th at 7:30 PM at the amphitheater. Join us for a night about learning about all types of pollinators including a pollinator game!

Pollination Hike on Saturday May 30th from 4:00 to 4:45 PM meet at the amphitheater to start. Come to our pollinator hike where we will go on a scavenger hunt for pollinators and the plants they love!

The Butterfly Program is on Saturday May 30th at 7:30 PM at the amphitheater. Learn all about butterflies and their importance in pollination as a craft we will be making butterfly feeders!
