It’s April 1st… and this is NO joke

Today kicks off the $4 for 4-H Campaign, and we need YOUR help to turn White County GREEN on the county map!

White County 4-H Cloverleaf Camp Sign-Ups Are This Week!

Calling all 5th & 6th grade 4-H’ers! Get ready for an unforgettable week at Rock Eagle 4-H Center this summer.

Camp Dates: June 15–19
Location: Rock Eagle 4-H Center

Registration Dates
Tuesday, March 17
Early registration for 5th & 6th grade 4-H members who have attended 2+ afterschool activities and/or DPA participants
Wednesday, March 18
Registration open to all 5th & 6th grade 4-H members

$150 deposit required to secure your camper’s spot

Spots fill quickly, so don’t wait! We can’t wait to see our White County 4-H’ers at camp this summer.

Please join our Seed & Plant Swap event on March 26, 2026 at the Cleveland Public Library from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. If have have saved seeds for have plants you'd like to share, please bring them! White County Extension Nathan Eason will reveal the truth about GMO seeds, open-pollinated seeds, and seed coatings. You do not have to have plants or seeds to attend the program. UGA is an Equal Opportunity Institution.

Join us for Sweep the H***h 2026 on Saturday, March 21 from 9AM–12PM as we help clean up the beautiful Chattahoochee River!

White County 4-H is proud to serve as a site host this year! We’ll kick things off at the Hampton Inn Helen and work our way upstream making a difference.

Gloves and trash bags are provided, participation is free, and all you need to bring is your willingness to serve!

White County Agri-Science Center in Cleveland, GA

White County 4-H/Extension will be there as a vendor offering Woody Ornamentals and Native Plants. Whether you’re refreshing your garden beds or adding beautiful native varieties, we’ve got something for you.

Come check us out and support our local youth program! We accept cash, check, and card for your convenience.

Enjoy nursery & garden vendors, garden art, herbs, vegetables, a raffle, food, and more. Plus FREE admission!

Have you ever wanted to be a University of Georgia Certified Master Gardener volunteer? You can be a part of the upcoming class that will take place in Habersham County beginning on March 3. Classes will be held on Tuesdays from 8:30 a.m.-2:30 p.m. at the Habersham Extension Office. The deadline for applications is February 7, 2026; contact us if you're interested at 706-865-2832. The cost is $175.

Date: Tuesday, December 17, 2025
Time: After school until 5:00 PM
Location: White County 4-H Office
Transportation: Transportation is provided to the 4-H Office after school

What to expect:
White Elephant Gift Exchange
Christmas food
Lots of Christmas fun!

What to bring:
If you are able, please bring a snack to share
A White Elephant gift for the exchange

So proud of our White County 4-H’ers who competed at Cloverleaf DPA this weekend!
Twenty-four students represented us in Union County, delivering amazing presentations and bringing home well-earned medallions. Their hard work, confidence, and creativity truly shined!
