🎉 Lindsley Park Playground Update! 🛝

Last month, heavy flooding washed away all of our playground's wood fibar (the cushy stuff), something I had never seen happen before! 😳

Yesterday, the playground was completely refilled, cushy as ever, and ready for action! Also, TWO brand new pieces of playground equipment were installed, courtesy of our wonderful and fabulous Hollywood / Santa Monica Neighborhood Association - HSMNA! 🙏🥳

HUGE thank you to the Dallas Park and Recreation Department for pushing through real budget and resource constraints to get this resolved, and also to HSMNA for continuing to invest in this beloved City of Dallas - District 14 park! ♥🌳

Saturday, June 27, Councilman Ridley was proud to join the Oak Lawn community for the unveiling and ribbon cutting of the new rainbow steps at the Oak Lawn Library.

"Oak Lawn Library remains among the most welcoming places in our city. It is an essential community space where everyone can gather and feel a sense of belonging. The Rainbow Steps are a colorful representation of the unique character and pride of the Oak Lawn neighborhood. "
