We gathered with heavy hearts to honor the brave men and women of the Dallas Police Department who made the ultimate sacrifice in the line of duty. Each year, during the Memorial Service held in May, we remember the officers who gave their lives protecting our city, their names solemnly read alongside a gun salute and a flyover that echoes their courage and dedication.

This ceremony is more than tradition - it is a sacred moment to reflect on their unwavering commitment and the profound loss felt by families, colleagues, and the entire community.

To the families who bear the weight of this loss, we pledge never to forget your loved ones’ valor.

Today, and always, we hold them close in our hearts, honoring their courage and the enduring spirit of the Dallas Police Department.

District 10 - The Lake Highlands Public Improvement District will be holding their yearly EGGSTRAVAGANZA Easter Egg Hunt this Saturday, April 19th at the park at Thurgood Marshall Elementary, across from 9666 W. Ferris Branch Rd.

Come meet and take a picture with their easter bunny - E.B. Hoopsalot, enjoy free food and participate in one of their 3 egg hunts.

This week, we hosted two 2025-26 City of Dallas Budget Town Hall meetings, and we are incredibly grateful to everyone who attended, asked questions, and shared their thoughts. Your input is invaluable as we work to prioritize the needs of our community.

📣 Dallas Teen Driver Safety Class 📣

The 5th Annual AAA Texas and City of Dallas Judiciary Teen Driver Safety Class will be held on Saturday, April 12th from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the J. Erik Jonsson Central Library.

Last year, we had a record-breaking attendance, and the event was standing room only!
