Good Evening,

On May 14, Greater Atlanta AUSA recognized its volunteers for their selfless and dedicated volunteer service to the USO and throughout the Greater Atlanta Community. On behalf of the Officers of Greater Atlanta AUSA, thank you for volunteering with us. We do not take your time and service for granted. We also recognized 6 Military Children in honor of Month of the Military Child. Spouse of the Year was Mrs. Sharon Padgett. Volunteer of the Year was Mr. Kenneth Spratling. Thank you to Neal VanMarten and Senator Jon Ossoff for helping us recognize some deserving members with your Senate Certificate. Thank you to Melissa Dean and Katrelle Tyson-pollard for taking pictures. We awarded a $1000.00 scholarship to student attended Howard University.
Thank you to CW5 (Ret) Rahzine Brown, we appreciate you fellowshipping with us and thank you for what you do for our Military Community.

Join us for the 3rd Annual Veterans Legislative Breakfast on Thursday, June 25, 2026!

Join the Georgia Veterans Service Foundation for a special breakfast with members of the General Assembly as they share updates on benefits, new legislation, and ways we can strengthen support for veterans and their families across the state.

Confirmed speakers include Chairman of the Senate Veterans, Military, and Homeland Security Committee Senator Chuck Payne and Chairman of the House Defense and Veterans Affairs Committee Representative Josh Bonner. More legislators are expected to attend.

The following cadets received awards from AUSA: Cadet Samira Vasquez, Cadet D'Marion Smith, and Cadet Esther Akande. We also
Provided 160 snack bags to the JROTC students and staff. 🇺🇸
