Calling high school fire cadets!
The 2026 High School Cadet Scholarship Program is accepting applications through May 30, 2026. Five cadets will receive a $3,000 scholarship plus an all-expenses-paid trip to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation Safety Symposium.
If you’re passionate about leadership, service, and the future of the fire service, this is your opportunity to be recognized nationally.

Important Information for all visitors, students, and instructors attending the Delaware State Fire School Kent Division:

The intersection of Kenton Road and Chestnut Grove Road is currently closed due to road construction. Please plan accordingly and access the Kent Division from West Chestnut Grove Road. This closure will last through July 15, 2026.

We encourage everyone traveling to classes or training evolution's to allow extra travel time and use caution while navigating the area.
