Volunteer Delaware provides volunteer referral services, technical assistance, and other resources to those in the field of volunteer management and to those interested in serving as a volunteer in the State of Delaware. Volunteer Delaware is part of the Department of Health and Social Services, Division of State Service Centers within the State Office of Volunteerism.

The ReStore is a nonprofit thrift and home improvement store that sells donated furniture, appliances, tools, décor, and more to fund affordable housing programs. Volunteers are a huge part of making that mission possible!

✨ Volunteer opportunities include:
🏷️ Sorting and pricing donations (housewares, décor, tools, books & more)
🔌 Testing electronics, appliances, power tools, and lighting
💻 Flagging items for online resale (eBay)
📞 Answering phones and assisting customers
🧹 Light cleaning, organizing, and keeping the store running smoothly

• Help guests check in and register if needed

Celebrate 40 years of cycling, community, and giving back! The Amish Country Bike Tour returns October 9–10, 2026, and volunteers are needed to help make this iconic, family-friendly event a success across Kent County—all in support of Bike Delaware.
