Last week, Master Corporals Pawlikowski and Zaffora were welcomed by Sunnyside Elementary School for their Health and Wellness Fair. Both providers were able to go over hands-only CPR while educating about EMS.

Please join the EMS Division in congratulating Dirk Yoder in his promotion from Corporal to Master Corporal.

Dirk’s involvement extends well beyond his daily duties. For more than 20 years, he has proudly served on our NASCAR committee and has continued to expand his involvement through the uniform and vehicle committees, showing a clear commitment to the continued growth and success of our department. He also serves as an active AHA BCLS instructor, regularly representing our organization with pride while teaching lifesaving CPR skills to our community.

Dirk is a great example to the department and we wish him the best of luck within his promotion!

As EMS Week comes to a close, we would like to thank our colleagues in the Emergency Departments at Bayhealth’s Kent and Sussex campuses. This entire week, they have provided us with a little extra love and support by providing us with snacks and other necessities throughout the day. Our relationship is so important and we simply could not do what we do without you!
