Thank you to everyone that joined us today for our Hispanic Heritage Month event at the El Paso VA! We had a variety of festivities, a Car Show & shine, guest speakers, our special performance, by Daniel Escamilla, and all our wonderful VA and community partners who were on site to connect with our veteran population with information and resources. Let’s not forget the food!! we had food trucks from El Salvador, Puerto Rico, Mexico, the Dominican republic, the Virgin Islands, and Louisiana.

Michael Bembo sings the National Anthem
Michael Bembo, Education Training Specialist for the El Paso VA Health Care System, sings the National Anthem at the opening ceremony for the new Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) administration building in Las Cruces, New Mexico.
The HBPC team will continue their commitment to care for our Veteran population in rural areas surrounding Las Cruces to include Dona Ana and Otero counties.

The El Paso VA Health Care System is hosting a ribbon-cutting ceremony, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Fort Bliss today, at Buildings 116 &117 on Pershing Rd. These buildings will house the Clinical Contact Center, Home Based Primary Care (HBPC) Program, Community Care Service, and other various administrative offices.
This Memorial Day honor and remember.
