Boaz Brothers Chapter Widow's Sons The Boaz Brothers Southwest Virginia Chapter meets every 2nd Sun. of the month at 2:00PM at the Catlett Lodge # 35, 128 Kane St. in Gate City, Va.

Our Southwest Virginia Widow's Sons Chapter, the Boaz Brothers, was formed in May 2011 by a few Masons in the area that enjoyed riding motorcycles and wanted to extend the helping hand to others beyond the Masonic Lodge. With just a handful of members, a charter was granted by the Grand Chapter of Virginia and since then, our chapter is growing more and more. we have members in Scott County, Wise

County, and across the Tennessee line. We try to plan rides for the chapter and many members are in the Shrine so they keep busy with that. We enjoy riding our bikes and always try to do things to raise awareness of just how good the Masonic family can reach out to help. We welcome new members and encourage participation. If you are in the Masonic Lodge, love to help others,own and love to ride motorcycles, then we welcome you to come join our chapter. As always in Masonry, "To Be One, Ask One". Due to the forecast showing at least an 80% chance of rain this Saturday, we have made the difficult decision to RESCHEDULE the Memorial Motorcycle Ride. The safety of our riders and those traveling to attend is our top priority, and we feel this is the best and safest choice.

With the upcoming weekends already full of events, we believe it will be best to wait and plan for a prettier day. Lord willing, we are looking to reschedule for sometime in August, and we will share details as soon as they are finalized.

All donations received so far will go toward the playground fund, and each of your names will be recognized when we are able to hold the ride.

We truly appreciate your understanding and continued support. Thank you all so much.

Our Boaz Brothers Chapter had our Christmas Dinner today at Golden Corral. All enjoyed the food and fellowship. We also had “Passed the Hat” at a couple meetings theoughout the year and the Wise County Shrine chipped in so we again are blessed to give the Fort Blackmore Center of Excellence $1,000.00 to help buy gifts for the kids for Christmas. Merry Christmas to all!

Some of us Boaz Brothers rode in a Benefit Ride yesterday in support of the Rye Cove FCCLA. They are raising money to fund a trip later in the year.
All enjoyed the ride and the weather was beautiful!!!! Thankful for these Brothers.
