And just like that, another program year comes to an end!

A huge thank you to our incredible crew members for showing up, stepping up, and putting in the work to make a difference in our community. From responding to natural disasters to surveying for frog and toad species, our crews were busy all year long, serving a collective 𝟮𝟮,𝟮𝟲𝟮 hours to improve our local parks, trails, and greenways.

Here's a look at what they accomplished:

• 𝟮𝟬𝟬+ 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗱 across our parks, with areas treated multiple times throughout the year for a total of 𝟰𝟭𝟯 𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗱. That's the equivalent of 𝟯𝟭𝟯 𝗳𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗳𝗶𝗲𝗹𝗱𝘀!
• 𝟴𝟮,𝟰𝟬𝟬 𝘄𝗼𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗮𝘀𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗿𝘂𝗯𝘀 cut and 𝟭𝟲,𝟭𝟱𝟬 𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘀 of non-native vegetation removed
• 𝟴,𝟬𝟬𝟬+ 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 to complete the Pollinator Corridor and 𝟰,𝟬𝟬𝟬 𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝘀 given to Green Bay residents and local schools
• 𝟭,𝟬𝟬𝟬+ 𝗴𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘀 of biochar produced

And those numbers only tell part of the story. Behind every acre restored, invasive species removed, native plant planted, and hour served are members learning new skills, tackling tough challenges, and making our community a better place.

Our members continue showing up for communities impacted by disaster, tackling difficult cleanup work and helping neighbors take the next steps toward recovery.

If this year has taught us anything, it's that resilience starts with community.
