Green Bay Water was well-represented at the WIAWWA Distribution Seminar, which was held jointly with the Midwest Water & Wastewater Operator Expo!
Our crew spent time in the expo hall meeting with vendors, watching hands-on demos, attending classroom sessions and trainings, and, of course, competing in the Meter Challenge Competition. Luke, Pete, and Jason were our three competitors!
Sarah Besaw, our very own Distribution Technician, will be participating in today's panel discussion on the Lead and Copper Rule at the WIAWWA Distribution Seminar. Panelists, including Sarah, will discuss a variety of topics related to the Lead Copper Rule.
Today, our Metering and Cross Connection Control Specialist Julianne Elsner retired from Green Bay Water Utility after 23 years. We will all miss her can-do attitude and friendly smile. Juli has a gift for asking smart questions that get to the heart of any problem, and she communicates closely with the front office, metering team and engineers. Julianne, we wish you all the best in retirement; we hope you enjoy spending plenty of time on the boat with your loved ones during this special time together. You've earned it!!π
