We all need water. 🚰 Green Bay Water is proud to supply high-quality drinking water from Lake Michigan. 🌊
Green Bay Water experienced an emergency main break affecting areas of Deckner Avenue from Henry Street to Main Street, which required us to shut off water to customers without notice. Please advise that we are working hard to get the water back on; however, due to multiple breaks in one area, we expect crews to be working for the next 4 hours (approximately.) We appreciate your patience at this time.
We are working on several projects to improve our infrastructure. A 2" cast iron pipe from 1941 is being replaced with an 8" PVC pipe on Klaus Street, and a 6" cast iron pipe from 1940 is being replaced with an 8" PVC pipe on Minahan Street. As we start and stop water work on a street, we update the color of the pin on our website map, as well as listing any planned outages. Visit our website: https://www.gbwater.org/projects

Drinking water supply and treatment is our responsibility to both public health and the environment. The fact you can open your tap and have clean, safe and reliable drinking water any time you want is among our nation's greatest engineering achievements.
We gotta give credit where it's due. We wouldn't have award-winning drinking water without our source: Lake Michigan. 🏆Thank you, Lake Michigan!

So what does that mean? It means our source water does not pass through a lot of development, agriculture or industry before entering our pumping station!
We provide customers with a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR) each year by July 1. A CCR is a report on local tap water quality! Ready to check out our latest?

We had a terrific time yesterday celebrating our Hydro Helpers! During the winter, these kids help their community by shoveling out fire hydrants. Great work! 💧🚒 Green Bay Metro Fire Department
Hydro Helpers!
You worked hard last winter to keep fire hydrants safe and clear after it snowed. The Green Bay Metro Fire Department and the Green Bay Water Utility would like to thank you for keeping our community safe.
On July 13 from 3:00 to 5:00 PM, there will be a 'Thank You' event at the Green Bay Water Utility (631 S. Adams Street). Hydro Helpers who signed up for the 2021-2022 winter can come in person to get a certificate of achievement, look at a fire truck, and get free tickets to Bay Beach. See you there! Green Bay Metro Fire Department
Be safe, stay hydrated and enjoy the Fourth of July. 🎆
The Green Bay Water Utility will be closed Monday, July 4. We will resume summer hours Tuesday, July 5 from 7:30 AM to 5 PM.
We can't stop talking about how much fun everyone had during this year's Kids Day on June 27!
