This week our students in Mrs. Brown’s Kindergarten class became mathematicians as they explored measurement using nonstandard units! They measured the height of classmates and the length of classroom objects using items such as cubes and other manipulatives. Through hands-on learning, students practiced comparing lengths, counting accurately, and recording their measurements while developing a deeper understanding of how we measure the world around us.
