Meet Nancy, a dedicated educator with a heart for service. 🌍 After earning her teaching degree from Huntington University and a Master’s from Michigan State, she spent four years teaching K–8 in Michigan, including two in a one-room country school.🌾 Her passion for spreading positive impact took her abroad—12 years teaching in Sierra Leone, Africa. Upon returning to the states, she finished her teaching career in Michigan. With all of the experiences from her teaching days, Nancy's most enjoyable moments were the pride she felt when watching her students graduate. 🎓

Celebrating the remarkable journey of Janyth Warner, a dedicated educator and beloved community member. From her childhood during the depression, she dreamed of teaching, even using Valentine cards from school as her classroom.
Janyth attended Manchester College, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She taught Kindergarten and First grade for three years before taking a break while she and her husband raised their children on their farm. Janyth later returned to earn her Master of Arts in Education. She then spent 17 years teaching Second grade at South Whitley Elementary and Pierceton Elementary schools.
When Janyth decided to retire, she continued to serve her community at the local library for over 17 years. Her passion for teaching and love for children never faded. Her kindness and patience touched countless students and colleagues. 📚💖

Celebrating Sandra Hauenstein's remarkable 45+ years in education! 📚 From teaching elementary grades in Bainbridge, Georgia, to instructing students in Germany post-WWII, her passion for teaching was unwavering. Relocating to Michigan, she led classes from grades 3-5 and the Gifted & Talented program, inspiring generations of students. Both Sandra and her husband's love for education extended to their three sons, who also became teachers. Sandra’s dedication proves that a career in education makes a lasting impact. 🍎
