CREDO provides retreats at local conference centers that take advantage of the natural beauty and serenity of the area. Participants can enjoy a place away from hectic work centers and household responsibilities for reflection and growth. Authorized users are defined as active duty military members and their dependents and Reservists in active duty status and their dependents. All
couples must be

legally married as defined by the Defense of Marriage Act and supply date of marriage on all registration forms.

Military couples (married or in a committed relationship) are invited to join the Get Better Together study.

Our final retreat at the exclusive Sonesta on Hilton Head Island is Aug 14-16.
We need 26 more couples to enroll to ensure this study is a great success and benefit future military couples.

Also, you are both compensated for taking the surveys (this has been legally reviewed by Navy SJAs and the DOW).

• Baseline survey: $25
• 2-month follow-up: $50
• 4-month follow-up: $50
• 6-month follow-up: $75
• Total Compensation: $200

Additionally, if selected for the retreat and you have eligible children at home you can ask for the $300 childcare stipend.

Also, during the no-cost to you retreat we provide you $80 for a Saturday night date night. You provide your own transportation but we pay for parking.
If not selected for the retreat you continue to be compensated for answering the surveys and you receive ePREP, a couples enrichment program for free.
