🚨 Pennsylvania Prison Guard Accused of Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material

A Pennsylvania state prison guard is facing dozens of charges after investigators allege they discovered more than 180 files containing child s*xual abuse material on his phone.

David Lemmon, 45, of Clifton Heights, worked as a corrections officer at SCI Chester.

According to investigators, the case began after authorities received a tip involving activity on Snapchat. The Delaware County Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force allegedly connected a username and email address involved in the activity to Lemmon.

Investigators interviewed Lemmon while he was working at SCI Chester on June 15 and confiscated his phone. Authorities also searched electronic devices at his home.

Police allege they discovered more than 180 files containing illegal material involving children on Lemmon’s phone.

Investigators further allege that Lemmon was trading the material with other users online and that a selfie of Lemmon was also exchanged during the communications.

Lemmon has been charged with dozens of counts related to the dissemination and possession of child s*xual abuse material, along with criminal use of a communication facility.

The Pennsylvania Department of Corrections said Lemmon has not returned to work since his arrest on August 10.

Lemmon posted bail and remains free while awaiting further court proceedings. His preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 20.

His attorney declined to comment on the allegations.

⚠️ Lemmon has been charged but has not been convicted. He is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
