Masala, an award-winning, go-to spot for authentic Indian cuisine in Missoula, opened its doors on the same year the International Rescue Committee (IRC) in Montana re-opened its own doors. 

For a decade, Masala has built its success with a team made up of more than 50% new Americans.

What began as an entry-level role focused on cooking and learning English, has evolved into taking on greater responsibilities in preparation for leading the business. Digital skills are absolutely critical to anyone trying to build a life in the U.S. The IRC in Montana served 120 individuals and provided 659 hours of trainings.
