NEISD is closely monitoring weather forecasts and local conditions. 🚌🌧️

Due to the potential for flooding and possible unexpected road closures, our school bus drivers will exercise extra caution to ensure student safety. This may result in delays or adjusted routes. The safety and well-being of our community remain our highest priority.

We appreciate your patience and encourage everyone to use caution when traveling in affected areas. Please check the NEISD website at neisd.net and follow social media channels regularly for real-time announcements and updates.

When the band shows up to the library, you KNOW it’s a big deal! 🎷🥁

On Monday, Mrs. Kendall was surprised with a NEEF Grant to bring Wonderbooks to Tex Hill! 🥳🎉

What's a Wonderbook? It's a print book with a built-in audiobook on the inside cover so students can read and listen at the exact same time! 🎧📖

Thank you North East Educational Foundation for investing in our students and our library. We can’t wait for these new books to hit the shelves!

Special thanks to Sparky the Lightbulb, Tex the Tiger, our Admin team, NEISD board members, NEEF representatives and the Honors Band for making this moment so unforgettable! And congratulations, Mrs. Kendall!
