🚁 A big thank you to Life Star for visiting Shelton and providing our local first responders with an excellent demonstration and training session. We also appreciate the Shelton Fire Department for coordinating this valuable event.

Members of Echo Hose Ambulance had the opportunity to train alongside Shelton Fire and other local first responders, strengthening our ability to work together if/when we must land LifeStar.

While we may not utilize Life Star as frequently as some of our more rural communities, it remains an incredibly important life-saving resource. We have relied on Life Star to quickly transport critically ill and injured patients a few times in the past.

We’re grateful for the partnership, the training, and the continued commitment to keeping our community safe and well protected . 🚑🚒🚁

🚑 Exciting News from Echo Hose Ambulance!🚑

We are proud to announce that our new ZOLL cardiac monitors are now in service and deployed with our EMS crews. These are the newest monitors with the latest technology, to assist our pre-hospital care providers when treating of our most critical patients.

Over the past two days, our EMTs and Paramedics have been conducting extensive hands-on training with this advanced equipment. Today, these monitors officially entered service and are now responding to emergencies throughout our community.

These state-of-the-art cardiac monitors allow our providers to monitor heart rhythms, deliver defibrillation when needed, and provide critical interventions during cardiac emergencies. Having this technology in the hands of our crews helps ensure the highest level of care for our patients when every second counts.

We are incredibly grateful for the generosity and support of our community during our recent fund drive. Your contributions helped offset the cost of these four cardiac monitors, each valued at more than $65,000.

Investing in equipment is important, but investing in training is equally critical. We are proud of the dedication our crews have shown over the last two days as they prepared to bring this new technology into service for the residents and visitors we serve.
