From Springfield to Kansas City! 🚶‍♀️🚶‍♂️

We’re proud to share that the City of Springfield, MO's homegrown pedestrian safety program, SGF Yields, has grown into SafeAcross — a national pedestrian safety initiative. Today, Kansas City, Missouri officially joins SafeAcross as a host community.

What started in Springfield is now helping communities across the country make pedestrian safety a priority and create safer streets for everyone!

The Lantern Walk in the West Central Neighborhood was a huge success!
McGregor Elementary families crafted lanterns while enjoying some pizza, then headed out on the safety-focused walk around the neighborhood. About 70 people got together to learn about walking safety while enjoying that beautiful evening.
