Yesterday (08/25) our Cecilia Epps Community Senior Center (Nelson) celebrated National Banana Split Day! 🍌 They had such a sweet time celebrating! We enjoyed a little bit of everything— from fun trivia, jokes and riddles, to bingo, prizes, lots of laughs, and of course… real banana splits!! 🍌🍦😋

We need volunteers, especially in our rural areas, to help older adults access their best Medicare Part D Plan and/or mentor students in our public schools. By serving an hour or two a week, you will make a huge impact!

- Mentors for Friends in Schools Helping (FISH)

Our Cecilia Epps (Nelson) Community Senior Center had lots of fun yesterday in the kitchen making a delicious big pan of banana pudding! 🍌 They did an amazing job and everyone loved it! Today our members danced to great music for their exercise! They sure do love music and dancing!

Happy Tuesday Everyone! Today I’m at the Greene Community Center, I have never seen sunflowers so beautiful and tall! This garden is amazing it grows whatever that’s planted. Good Soil produces whatever that’s planted.

What a great day for a MWCC trip to Yoders Country Market in Madison Va., seeing the animals, shopping, lunch, ice cream and sharing with our friends. Thanks to all who made this trip possible.
