“The City Council has given final approval for the planned $17.3 million Wisconsin Rapids Family Health Center and the groundbreaking should take place this year...U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin and U.S. Rep. Derrick Van Orden both were instrumental in securing the federal money.”

Groundbreaking for the Wisconsin Rapids Family Health Center is expected to take place in November.

🚨MAJOR ANNOUNCEMENT: When I came to Congress, I promised families I would fight for rural America.

For over a year, I worked with President Trump and CMS Administrator, Dr. Oz to secure historic Medicaid funding for Wisconsin. I am pleased to announce that our state's Medicaid provider assessment will increase from less than 1.8% to 6%.

That means an estimated $9.6 BILLION in federal Medicaid funding to strengthen Wisconsin's healthcare system, protect rural hospitals, and ensure families have access to the high-quality care we deserve.
