Join our Value Adjustment Board (VAB) team as a temporary clerk and help support fair, transparent property assessments in your community. This 40-hour workweek assignment offers steady, meaningful work for up to six months.

The VAB is an independent, quasi-judicial body that hears and resolves taxpayer appeals related to property taxes. It exists to ensure taxpayers have a fair process to challenge decisions made by the Palm Beach County Property Appraiser's office.

As Clerk to the VAB, the Clerk’s Office receives petitions, notifies petitioners and taxing authorities, schedules hearings, prepares records, manages official documents, and ensures hearings follow legal requirements.
