Last week marked the closing event of the project “Empowerment of Kosovo Vulnerable Communities through Better and Equal Access to the Labour Market.”

For the past three years, this project has contributed to improving access to education 📚, vocational education and training and employment opportunities 💼 for children and young people from vulnerable groups across seven municipalities in Kosovo.

Throughout the project, students who had dropped out of school were identified and supported in returning to education 🏫 Vulnerable students received education-related cash assistance, while lower-secondary students benefited from personal development and life-skills programmes. More than 5,000 students also took part in career guidance, vocational orientation and life-skills activities.

These achievements are an important step towards creating more equal opportunities for young people and supporting their successful transition into the labour market.

A sincere thank you to Austrian Development Agency for funding this important project and to our partners Save the Children Kosova/o , Syri i Vizionit and Nevo Koncepti for their commitment and efforts in implementing it.

Together, we are helping build pathways towards greater opportunity, inclusion and a more equitable future for young people in Kosovo.

UPDATED FINAL PROGRAMME FOR PRISON RADIO 📻

From 10 to 13 September 2026, PRISON RADIO takes over Burgu i Idealit / the Former Prishtina Prison and other locations across Prishtina for four days of sound, radio, art, performance, music, masterclasses, lectures, live shows and collective listening.

Artists, musicians, radio makers, researchers, writers and former political prisoners come together to explore confinement, surveillance, discipline, resistance and freedom through concerts, sound installations, performances, exhibitions, sound walks, lectures, masterclasses, listening sessions and live radio.

PRISON RADIO starts from a place built to separate people, control movement and suppress voices. For four days, we reverse this logic: voices and sounds move through cells, courtyards, radio frequencies and beyond the prison walls.
