We also offer full-time courses for international students who choose to study in Australia. Courses for international students are listed on the Commonwealth Register of Institutions and Courses for Overseas Students (CRICOS) and TAFE NSW is an accredited CRICOS provider. 🚧 MUNDI MUNDI LIGHTFEST TEMPORARY ROAD CLOSURES 🚧

Council advises the following will be closed to facilitate the Mundi Mundi Lightfest on Saturday, 15 August 2026 to Monday, 17 August 2026.

• Gawler Place and Chloride Street between Blende Street and Argent Street - Will have restricted access from 10.30am.
• Argent Street between Delamore Street and Sulphide Street - Each lane will have
restricted access from 10.30am.
• Oxide Street from Gawler Place to Crystal Lane - Each lane will have resctricted
access from 10.30am.

Vehicles already parked in Argent Street will be able to exit the area prior to full road
closure at 1pm.

Sally is building a rewarding future in community services - and you can too. ⭐

After deciding it was time for a career change, Sally discovered her passion for support work. Over the past three years, she has built a meaningful career as a support worker and is now studying at TAFE NSW to further develop her crisis-support skills and strengthen her ability to advocate for others.

If you're looking to make a difference in your community, the Certificate II in Community Services (CHC22015) can help you build the foundational knowledge and practical skills needed to support people experiencing challenges in areas such as housing, mental health, disability, multicultural services, financial wellbeing, youth services, and domestic and family violence.

Eligible students can now access free training in the Certificate II in Community Services (CHC22015) funded under the Skills for Education and Employment (SEE) Program at TAFE NSW Broken Hill.

Be quick — classes commence from 31 August.

Another great year at the Careers Expo!

It was fantastic connecting with students, sharing opportunities, and showcasing the pathways available through TAFE.

We especially enjoyed watching students engage with our technology displays, including a 3D printer, virtual welding station, robotic arm, and robots designed and built by our students.

This grant is to assist individuals who are pursuing qualifications through Tafe, Community College or University and which will enhance their career opportunities in the region. Those currently doing an SBAT are welcome to apply.
