Lightfest entertainment will go ahead tonight! Live music and food vans from 6pm, and the road closure will be reduced to condense the event toward the Oxide St end of the CBD. Drone show to be determined later this evening depending on the weather, and buses will still be running from the Racecourse.

Apologies to anyone inconvenienced by the road closure. The road remained closed as we expected the weather would require us to reduce the event footprint and move the food vans into Argent St. These adjustments will begin in the next few hours.

Congratulations to the winners of the 2026 Waste 2 Art Regional Showcase!

Bringing together outstanding works selected from local Waste 2 Art competitions across the NetWaste region, this year's Regional Showcase celebrates the creativity of artists, students, schools and community members who have transformed discarded and recycled materials into imaginative works of art.
