Thank you to everyone who joined us for our Make Your Own Museum Fossil workshop last Wednesday! It was fantastic to see so many creative fossils being made – check out a few photos from the workshop below!

There's still plenty happening at the Albert Kersten Mining & Minerals Museum these school holidays. Local families receive free entry throughout the holidays, so it's the perfect time to visit.

While you're here, don't forget to try our two free daily activities:
• Pixel Prospector – match pixelated minerals with the real rocks and minerals on display.
• Hidden Miner Hunt – search the museum for hidden miners, collect the clues and crack the code.

Just a quick note – we've noticed we listed our opening days incorrectly in a recent post, so apologies for any confusion. The GeoCentre is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10.00 am–4.00 pm.

We hope to see you at the GeoCentre these school holidays!
