We're preparing a special Bounce and Rhyme on Friday 3rd July with Norwich Science Festival. Stay a bit longer after our regular session at 2:00pm and experience Wondertots, the Norwich Science Festival workshop designed specifically for under 4 year olds.

Little ones can take part in a mini-beast hunt among leaves, try the bug-vision glasses and experience the world as if you were a fly, balance a butterfly on their finger, and use static electricity to make a tissue paper butterfly flap its wings.

No need to book.

And if, you'd like more of this in Tuckswood, come to Harford Park on Thursday 30 July for Bugs and Beasts, a whole day of hands-on nature themed activities, face paint, Capoeira dance workshops, bike check-ups, and packed lunches - all free.

We are getting ready for the Summer Reading Challenge, which starts on 4th July. This year's theme is 'Read to the Beat.' There will be a special sign-up Saturday at Tuckswood Library on 18th July 12 noon - 3pm. Come along, sign up, take part in some craft activities and choose your reading material!

Our children's area has had some exciting new improvements recently. We are lucky to have brand new blue display boards as well as a new sofa, and at Craft Club we made some beautiful bunting which we decorated with sequins and foam shapes. Pop in and take a look!

Did you know that if your child is aged 0-5 you can sign them up to our Story Explorers Club? Collect certificates for each milestone of books borrowed, and you even get your very own gold library card when you have borrowed 1000 books!
