Our Community Read for September is 'You Are Here' by David Nicholls πŸ“š

'Marnie is stuck. Stuck working alone in her London flat, stuck battling the long afternoons and a life that increasingly feels like it's passing her by. Michael is coming undone. Reeling from his wife's departure, increasingly reclusive, taking himself on long, solitary walks across the moors and fells. When a persistent mutual friend and some very English weather conspire to bring them together, Marnie and Michael suddenly find themselves alone on the most epic of walks and on the precipice of a new friendship. But can it survive the journey?'

Someone you know starting School in September?

Norfolk libraries offer "Getting Ready for School" bags packed with specially selected children's books and useful information to help young children transition into reception class. The purple bags are free to borrow for three weeks!

Also, we've been fortunate enough that a representative from The South Norfolk family hub has been dropping into our library most Monday afternoons.

At their Hub, they offer free play sessions, parenting advice, and transition support for children heading into reception. Next session is tomorrow, Thursday 27th August.
