The Chairman and CEO & Secretary, Coffee Board, met Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Nara Chandrababu Naidu on 31 August 2026 and extended invitation to Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Regional Coffee Research Station (RCRS), R.V. Nagar, commemorating 50 years of its establishment and contribution to coffee research and development in the State.

RCRS, R.V. Nagar has played an important role in supporting coffee development in Andhra Pradesh & Odisha through research, extension and technical support, contributing to improved coffee cultivation, diversification of livelihoods and the socio-economic development of tribal communities. The Coffee Board looks forward to the gracious presence of the Hon’ble Chief Minister at the Golden Jubilee celebrations, marking five decades of the Station’s contribution to coffee research and development in Andhra Pradesh.

Er****on of Coffee Board Stall on the Occasion of the Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh to Gannela Village, Araku Valley, Alluri Sitharama Raju on 29/08/2026.

The Hon’ble Chief Minister was briefed on the coffee development activities being undertaken in the Araku Valley region. A detailed explanation was given regarding the coffee Production, processing and quality coffee.
The significance of proper processing, roasting and brewing in enhancing the quality and flavour of coffee was highlighted.

Freshly brewed Araku Coffee was prepared and served to the Hon’ble Chief Minister at the stall. The Hon’ble Chief Minister graciously tasted the freshly brewed Araku Coffee and appreciated its distinctive flavour and quality.

Yesterday, CEO & Secretary Coffee Board along with Hon'ble Board Member and MP Shri Lahar Singh Siroya met Hon'ble vice president of India in Bengaluru. Director of Finance, Coffee Board was also seen.
