The atmosphere of the Interactive Exhibition — "Place Not Space" at One Bangkok, in collaboration with Shma and the we!park, transforms The Wireless Club into a place of meaning through storytelling of the journey from "Participation" to "Placemaking" — the process of place-creation founded on the belief that a Space becomes a Place when people come together to co-create it, on display from today until 6 September 2026: on 3 – 4 September 2026 from 07.00 – 22.00 hrs., and on 5 – 6 September 2026 from 10.00 – 22.00 hrs., at The Wireless Club, G Floor, The Storeys, One Bangkok.
In addition, a special talk and workshop will also be held on Saturday, 5 September.

One Bangkok, together with Shma and the we!park, invites everyone to be part of a journey from "Participation" to "Placemaking" — a place-creation process built on the belief that a Space becomes a meaningful, living Place only when people take part in shaping it together. Over the past 19 years, Shma has viewed placemaking as a process that requires understanding people, context, nature, and the relationships that occur within a space, from the level of daily life up to the level of the city.
On this occasion, One Bangkok is opening up its space as a platform to explore the concept of Placemaking through talks, workshops, and an exhibition over a full 6 days, from 1 – 6 September 2026 at One Bangkok.

One Bangkok shared its perspective on designing a city for sustainable health and well-being for the people who come to live their lives at One Bangkok, at the 'MFLF Sustainability Forum 2026', organised by the Mae Fah Luang Foundation under Royal Patronage.
Mr. Panote Sirivadhanabhakdi, Group Chief Executive Officer of Frasers Property Limited, shared his vision on a discussion stage under the theme 'Nature Positive Business', speaking about the design and creation of as much green and open space as possible within One Bangkok, in order to foster biodiversity within the project. This has enabled the living organisms residing there to depend on and support one another — whether the plant species deliberately chosen and selected for planting, or the wildlife that has naturally come to take shelter — all of which help complete the project's ecosystem, transforming it into an 'Urban Forest'. This stands as another key part of promoting good health and well-being for people, and forms part of the effort to help the city grow in a balanced and sustainable manner.

วัน แบงค็อก ร่วมสร้างคุณค่าให้ทรัพยากรผ่านการรีไซเคิล พร้อมส่งต่อประโยชน์สู่ชุมชนอย่างยั่งยืน โดยได้ต้อนรับคณะครูและนักเรียนจากโรงเรียนปลูกจิต โรงเรียนสวนลุมพินี และโรงเรียนสุนีพิทยา เข้าร่วมกิจกรรมให้ความรู้เกี่ยวกับการคัดแยกขยะและกระบวนการจัดการขยะภายในโครงการของวัน แบงค็อก เพื่อเสริมสร้างความตระหนักรู้ พร้อมส่งเสริมพฤติกรรมการจัดการขยะและการรีไซเคิลในชีวิตประจำวันในกลุ่มเยาวชนอย่างถูกวิธี
นอกจากนี้ ทีมงานวัน แบงค็อก ยังได้นำคณะนักเรียนเข้าเยี่ยมชม “เดอะ ไวร์เลส เฮาส์ วัน แบงค็อก” โครงการอนุรักษ์อาคารวิทยุโทรเลขศาลาแดง เพื่อเรียนรู้ประวัติความเป็นมาของสถานีวิทยุโทรเลขแห่งแรกของประเทศไทย รวมถึงที่มาของชื่อ “ถนนวิทยุ” ซึ่งเป็นส่วนสำคัญของมรดกทางประวัติศาสตร์ของพื้นที่ในชุมชนของโรงเรียน
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของแคมเปญ CONNECTS ภายใต้โครงการ Urban Furniture ที่นำขวดพลาสติกใช้แล้วจากพนักงานและผู้เช่าภายในโครงการวัน แบงค็อก เข้าสู่กระบวนการรีไซเคิลอย่างถูกวิธี เพื่อนำมาผลิตเป็น “เก้าอี้ CONNECTS” จากพลาสติกรีไซเคิล ภายใต้ความร่วมมือระหว่าง วัน แบงค็อก, SCGC และ Thai Beverage Recycle โดยเก้าอี้ที่ผลิตได้จะถูกส่งมอบให้แก่โรงเรียนทั้ง 3 แห่ง เพื่อนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ภายในสถานศึกษา และเป็นการต่อยอดคุณค่าของทรัพยากรและสร้างประโยชน์คืนสู่สังคมอย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

One Bangkok is committed to creating value from resources through recycling while generating lasting benefits for the community. As part of this commitment, One Bangkok recently welcomed teachers and students from Plookchit School, Suanlumpinee School, and Sunee Phitaya School to participate in an educational program on waste management within the development. The activity was designed to raise environmental awareness and encourage young people to adopt proper waste management and recycling practices in their daily lives.
As part of the program, students were also invited to visit The Wireless House One Bangkok, a conservation project dedicated to preserving the historic Saladaeng Radiotelegraph Station. The visit provided an opportunity to learn about the history of Thailand’s first radiotelegraph station and the origin of Wireless Road, an important part of the area's cultural and historical heritage that continues to hold special significance for the surrounding school communities.
This initiative is part of the CONNECTS Campaign under the Urban Furniture Project, which collects used plastic bottles from employees and tenants at One Bangkok and channels them into a proper recycling process. Through a collaboration between One Bangkok, SCGC, and Thai Beverage Recycle, the recycled plastic is transformed into CONNECTS Chairs, which will be donated to the three participating schools for educational use. The project demonstrates how recycled resources can be given a second life while creating tangible benefits for both communities and society.
Those interested in supporting a more sustainable future and becoming part of a recycling-minded community are invited to donate empty plastic bottles at:
