The greatest gift Stacey has ever given me is the chance to be a father.

Now, being a grandfather has made that gift even better.

Family has a way of sharpening your focus. I want my children and grandchildren to have a future here in Alaska: to live here, work here, raise families here, and thrive here.

That’s what this is all about. Happy Father’s Day to all the dads, grandfathers, and father figures building something worth passing on.

I’m not going to bore you with a clip from a debate that is the same rinse and repeat from politicians giving politician answers.

All in good fun, of course. I respect anyone willing to step into the arena, but Alaska is ready for fresh blood and a fresh approach.

While the bureaucrats argue over why things “can’t” be done, I’m focused on the Alaskans struggling to pay their bills today and the grandkids who deserve a future here tomorrow.

Alaska needs a leader who knows how to build, negotiate, and get results. Not someone who just knows how to campaign.

I’m a businessman, not a politician. My focus is simple: cheap energy, a growing economy, and an Alaska that our children choose to call home.

We had a great time in Anchorage celebrating Juneteenth with the Chamber. Stacey and I were glad to be part of such a meaningful luncheon honoring the end of slavery in America. Reflection on our history is necessary to build a stronger, more united Alaska.

We are committed to a future where hard work is met with opportunity and where every Alaskan has the freedom to prosper.
