Stacey and I want to thank every Alaskan who supported this campaign, shared their story, opened their home, volunteered their time, and believed in our vision for a stronger Alaska. I am especially grateful to our families, volunteers, staff, and supporters who worked tirelessly throughout this campaign.

The issues we fought for: lower costs, greater opportunity, responsible leadership, and a government that puts Alaskans first — remain as important as ever.

This campaign was never only about one election. It was about standing up for Alaska and believing in what our state can become. I am proud of the work we did together, and I will continue to fight for Alaska and for the people who call this state home.

We had the amazing opportunity to attend the Hmong Festival in Anchorage and connect with members of the community, listening to their stories, experiences, and hopes for the future.

We’re grateful to the Hmong community for the warm welcome and meaningful conversations. Thank you for the opportunity to connect, learn, and celebrate together!

Dividing and conquering across the Great Land! 🏔️

Loved our stop in Delta Junction visiting with the community (and big shout out to Big Delta Brewing Co. for having us!). Meanwhile, Jesse Sumner and Big Blue were holding down the fort down in Ninilchik with the rest of the crew.

From the Interior to the Kenai Peninsula, we’re taking our message straight to Alaskans everywhere. Thank you for the incredible support!

I'm relieved to see that President Trump directed the end of Medicaid funding for gender-transition surgeries and hormones for minors. The new rule does not affect federal coverage of mental health services for children.

In August 2025, as a member of the Alaska State Medical Board, I authored a resolution because Alaska must protect children and uphold ethical medical standards. The Board unanimously adopted the regulations that define the provision of gender-transition interventions - including puberty blockers, cross-sex hormones, mastectomy, phalloplasty, and ge***al modification - to minors under 18 as unprofessional conduct, with exceptions for conge***al conditions and non-elective treatment of physical injury.

Note: One year later, it is disheartening that the Department of Law still has not acted on this resolution and regulatory change.

These issues demand courage. As governor, I will continue to stand up for children, families, and responsible medical practice in Alaska.
