Oregon National Guard Youth Symposium
Last week the the Child and Youth Program held our 5th annual Youth Symposium! We had a record number of students attend for our "Masters of Disasters" emergency preparedness weekend. Friday through Sunday students took part in many trainings, games and presentations on how to survive and thrive during an emergency situation- including the impending zombie apocalypse! From zombie challenges to emergency kits to escape rooms- our students are now Masters of Disasters and know how to be successful and resilient during any type of emergency. Thank you to the Bend Fire department, REI, Financial Beginnings, 4-H, Ryan Siggins, Sarah Johnson, and more, for equipping our students!
