As we wait for our flax harvest to dry, let's look at some of the tools that we will be using to turn it into linen.
From a flax brake to hackles to the spinning wheel, with a few more steps in between, these tools were necessary to obtain the fine hair like fibers within the stem and turn them into thread.
Each tool will be explained in more detail as the process continues throughout the year.
