It was a pleasure spending time with Louisiana Farm Bureau Federation members at the 104th Louisiana Farm Bureau Convention in New Orleans. From commodity meetings and industry discussions to media interviews and the general session, I appreciated the opportunity to share updates and visit with producers from across our state. Thank you to Farm Bureau for being a strong voice for Louisiana agriculture and forestry and for the people who make these industries thrive.

It has been a pleasure joining fellow agriculture leaders in Cambridge, Maryland for SASDA discussions focused on agriculture, forestry, and aquaculture.

We have visited the Maryland State Capitol, the Naval Academy Chapel, and an Oyster Research Station on the Chesapeake Bay, while also meeting with delegations from Vietnam and Taiwan to exchange ideas and perspectives.

Opportunities like these are invaluable for building relationships, sharing best practices, and bringing new insights back to Louisiana as we continue working to support our farmers, ranchers, foresters, and agricultural communities.

What does it take to get a Louisiana product on store shelves across the country? A great product. A great story. And the passion to share it with the world. In this behind-the-scenes episode of LDAF's Crawfish Tales, we’re taking you inside a pitch event where Certified Louisiana companies presented their products to buyers from Kroger. Hosted at Second Harvest Food Bank of Southwest Louisiana in Lake Charles, the event gave Certified Louisiana companies the opportunity to connect with retail buyers and showcase the quality, creativity, and innovation found right here in our state. Watch as Louisiana entrepreneurs take the next step toward bringing their products from local businesses to national markets — while continuing to share the stories and traditions that make Louisiana special.

I had a wonderful time visiting with everyone at LSU Dairy Day at the LSU Southeast Research Station in Franklinton! June is National Dairy Month, and there’s no better way to celebrate than spending time with Louisiana’s dairy producers and enjoying some of LSU’s famous ice cream.

The chocolate is especially hard to beat! 🍦 Thank you to everyone who helped make it a great day.

June 6, 1944, marked a turning point in world history. On this D-Day anniversary, we honor the courage, sacrifice, and unwavering resolve of the heroes who stormed the beaches of Normandy and helped secure victory in World War II. Their legacy of freedom and service will never be forgotten. 🇺🇸

I was honored to attend a reception aboard HMS Trent at the invitation of His Britannic Majesty’s Consul General Richard Shackleton as part of Sail 250 New Orleans. This international maritime celebration brings together tall ships and naval vessels from around the world, and it was a pleasure to join fellow leaders and guests for an evening of fellowship and friendship along the Mississippi River.
