GEO Academies offer innovative K-16 pathways with personalized, research-based learning. Today, enrollment is at capacity with nearly 750 students.

From kindergarten, students accelerate into free college & career high schools, graduating with a degree or certification for a head start on postsecondary success. In 2017, the State of Louisiana entrusted GEO with managing a struggling charter school on Lobdell Blvd in Mid-City. Since then, GEO Prep Mid-City has transformed into a high-performing school, earning recognition as a Top Gains Honoree and a “B” rating from the Louisiana Department of Education. GEO Prep Mid-City prepares students to seamlessly accelerate into its free college and career immersion high school, GEO Next Generation.

Congrats to all staff and leadership at 21C, GEO Prep and GEO Prep Mid City for being ranked by US News and World Report among the best charters in your respective states.

I’m actually not a big fan of US News and World Report's high school rankings because if you prefer providing your students real college courses instead of AP courses at your school (as we do) you don’t get ranked.

But, I can appreciate their elementary rankings. As such, congrats to 21ST CENTURY CHARTER SCHOOL AT GARY INC for being ranked 21st out of all 75 charters in Indiana and to GEO PREP AT MID-CITY INC. and Geo Prep Academy for being ranked 13th and 17th respectively among all 102 charters in Louisiana.

Great job!!!
