Yesterday marked 5 years since Lindsey Hefta joined the DakCU team, and what a five years it’s been!

For five years, Lindsey has brought creativity, big ideas and a whole lot of dedication to DakCU and our member credit unions. She’s helped grow our marketing and communications efforts, supported countless events and initiatives, and somehow manages to keep everything moving, usually with a Diet Coke in hand.

The 2026 Day generated 4.3 million impressions and 28,100 engagements, with participation spanning all 50 states.

More importantly, thousands of stories highlighted how credit unions make a difference for their members and communities every day.

Kaelixte joins DakCU as our Member Engagement & Communications Coordinator, where she will support member engagement and communications efforts while also serving as Executive Director of the Dakota Credit Union Foundation.
