LHS MCJROTC Cadets participated in the The Presidential Fitness Test today. It is a national physical fitness testing program that will be conducted in United States public middle and high schools. 11 cadets received National Achievements scores and Scarlett M Jayce B, and Steven P received the Presidential Achievement scores. Thank you to MCCS for facilitating this and good job to all 30 of the cadets who participated!

We have to take a moment to say a huge shout out to Liam!

He was recently cast in the musical Little Shop of Horrors at the New Bern Civic Theatre. He will be playing Orin Scrivello, the “Dentist.” Go catch him in the show in July, this is hands down one of the most iconic parts ever!

Liam has been a student with our theatre teacher Mr. Connor. We want to also take a moment to thank Mr. Connor for introducing students to theatre and helping connect them to opportunities in the wider community.
