The Fall River Public Library is a historic library in the heart of downtown Fall River. First established in 1861, the library opened in its current location in 1899 and was renovated in 2001. Still maintaining its 19th-century charm, the library now offers public access to 21st-century technology, along with programs and services for all ages.

Attention all summer reading club members and their families!

Children who have been participating in the library's summer reading club, "Amazing Things Happen at the Library," should return their completed reading logs to the children's room by Friday, August 7 at 3:30 pm. The Summer reading club award ceremony will take place on Friday, August 14 at 11:00 a.m. on the library's front lawn. In case of rain, the event will take place indoors.

Get ready to break out your best dance moves at our Dino Dance Party! Dinosaurs will be roaming the library lawn and bopping to the beat as DJ New Wave Rhythm plays all of your favorite tunes.
