Highlands Mansion and Gardens The Highlands Mansion and Gardens is a 44-acre historic site with a late 18th century Georgian mansion and two-acre formal garden.

Surrounded by massive stone walls, the gardens offer a beautiful example of early 20th, century estate gardening with an unusual blend of horticulture and architecture. The site features nine outbuildings, including a bank barn, springhouse, greenhouse, smokehouse and Gothic Revival gardener's cottage. The Highlands Historical Society began to restore the 2-acre formal garden to its appearance c.1925 - 1935 in October 2001, with a project at the screening wall on the east side of the garden.

Save the Date for our first Masquerade!

Think of it as our mini gala but with house party vibes. Enjoy a fun evening out, dressed to impress, eat some delicious bites, hang by the open bar, visit our vip lounge, dance the night away and, of course, you should wear a mask.

We are really looking forward to working with these companies who have signed on to be contributing vendors for our fabulous fundraiser!

Tickets are on sale now for our annual community Halloween party 🎃 click the link in our story or visit our website to purchase your ticket. $30 per carload of visitors!

Join us in the gardens after dark for live music from Rick’s Office Band buy some delicious food From the Boot On The Move and stroll through the Jack O'Lantern lit greenhouse. It's always an awesome night for family friendly fun. Dressing up is encouraged! Vote for your favorite pumpkin and win some candy if you complete the scavenger hunt! Or just cozy up by the fire pit.

All entries for our Jack O'Lantern contest must be delivered to the mansion by 4:00 on the day of the event. First place wins a three hour party rental!

Want an advantage in the competition? Attend the carving class by Master Pumpkin Carver Ellen Glendinning on Wednesday 10/28 from 6-8 pm. Send me a DM for registration details. $25 per person.

Loki's parents got married!

Congratulations to Abby & Justin who had the most beautiful fall wedding day over the weekend.The florals were vibrant, guests raved about the braised beef short ribs, the string quartet was masterful, there was a mini golf course and handmade Scrabble inspired seating chart. It was such a lovely celebration with so many adorable details. I'm particularly looking forward to the go-pro footage captured by the four legged ring bearer!

Many blessings for a wonderful marriage and lifetime together. It was an honor assisting in your most special day. Hope to see you both and little Loki here on your one year anniversary for a picnic!

Congratulations to newlyweds Cassidy & Danny 🤍

This awesome couple tied the knot at church and then rolled up to The Highlands ready to party! Drinks were flowing at cocktail hour and guests were entertained with a PhotoBooth, caricaturist, and hand drawn artwork magnet machine.

Delicious dinner and a full dance floor all night long under the biggest disco ball there ever was. The love Cassidy and Danny have for each other was palpable from beginning to end. They planned the perfect celebration that reflected their love of travel and having fun together.

Best wishes for an incredible life of love, laughs and adventure! So fortunate to have witnessed such sweet chemistry and helped out on your most special day!
