Primary clarifier #4, seen here, is being prepped for important upgrades starting soon! Each of NEW Water’s 12 North Plant clarifiers holds about 1 million gallons of wastewater, and are a critical step in the “liquids train” portion of the treatment process. Great reminder from Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance!

Street sweeping does more than keep our roads clean. It removes sediment, oil, litter, leaves, and other pollutants before they can be washed into storm drains and carried to nearby rivers, lakes, and streams.

By keeping contaminants out of our waterways, street sweeping improves water quality, protects fish and wildlife, and helps communities meet stormwater regulations.

When the street sweeper is scheduled in your neighborhood, do your part: move parked vehicles if requested, and avoid placing leaves, grass clippings, or debris in the street.

Together, we can keep pollutants out of our water and protect the places we all enjoy.

What an incredible two days at our STEAM Superheroes Camp! Recruits from the The Boys & Girls Club of Greater Green Bay took on The Unflushables, Phosphorus Phurry, and Sinister Sediment through hands-on STEAM activities.
Along the way, they explored watersheds, discovered the power of microorganisms, engineered creative solutions to protect our waterways, and learned how their everyday choices help protect our rivers, the Bay of Green Bay, and the Great Lakes.
Their mission was a success, and we're proud to welcome 17 new Defenders of the Bay!
Thank you to The Children’s Museum of Green Bay for partnering with us on this year's camp and helping inspire the next generation of water leaders!
