CASA of Brown County

CASA of Brown County Nonprofit organization providing a voice for abused and neglected children under court protection.

Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County is a member of The National CASA/GAL Association for Children and the Wisconsin CASA Association. We operate a CASA child advocacy program in Brown County, Wisconsin.

We recruit, train and support CASA volunteers who are professionally trained and supported by our staff. They visit with the child regularly and submit a monthly report to th

e judge on the child's safety and well-being to help the judge make important decisions about the child's future. A CASA volunteer is often the only consistent adult presence in the life of an abused or neglected child. A child with a CASA volunteer is more likely to get help with other services, spend less time in foster care, find a safe, permanent home, and do better in school!

We love when our community sees a need and steps in to meet it. 💙

After retiring, Karen found a meaningful new way to give back- getting books, games, and comfort items directly to children served by CASA. Through our Wish List, she was able to easily purchase and ship items that go straight into the hands of kids who need them most.

Her experience is a reminder that making a difference can be simple, personal, and incredibly impactful.

If you are looking for a way to support local children, our CASA Wish List is a great place to start.

Thank you, Karen, for showing up for kids in our community!

On Friday, our team had the opportunity to tour Camp Tekakwitha and connect with camp staff as they prepare for another amazing summer.

Thanks to the generous support of Cornerstone Foundation of Northeastern Wisconsin, up to 24 of the kids we serve will attend camp this summer! This opportunity is a favorite among many of our youth, and we are incredibly grateful to Cornerstone Foundation and Camp Tekakwitha for helping create lasting memories and unforgettable experiences. 💙
