Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Brown County is a volunteer based nonprofit organization that provides a voice for abused and neglected children who are under the legal protection of the court system.
CASA of Brown County is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that recruits, trains and supports everyday citizens from the community to advocate on behalf of abused and neglected children who are under court protection until they are thriving in a safe and permanent home.
We operate CASA programs in Brown and Marinette Counties. CASA of Brown County is a member of The National CASA Association and the Wisconsin CASA Association. CASA volunteers are professionally trained and supported by our staff. They visit with the child regularly and submit a monthly report to the judge on the child's safety and well-being to help the judge make important decisions about the child's future. A CASA volunteer is often the only consistent adult presence in the life of an abused or neglected child. A child with a CASA volunteer is more likely to get help with other services, spend less time in foster care, find a safe, permanent home, and do better in school!
Mission: CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates) of Brown County is a volunteer based nonprofit organization that provides a voice for abused and neglected children who are under the legal protection of the court system.

In order to help support the most vulnerable kids in our community, Court Appointed Special Advocates or CASA of Brown County, is hosting a virtual week-long event.
“My experience with CASA has made me the woman I am today. I felt so alone when I was placed in the foster care system. I didn’t have anyone there for me, until I met my CASA advocate when I was 16. Every week she would visit. She was positive and listened to me. She helped me get the resources I needed to get through such a tough time. Thanks to her I felt I had a friend, someone who had my back. She saw the best in me when I didn’t even see it myself. My CASA advocate was the person who believed in me.” - former CASA youth Alexia, pictured at our 2017 CASA Presents event with Green Bay Packer Corey and Anna Linsley and Bill Jartz of WBAY.
