Meeting a neighbor’s needs can take many forms, and Greer Community Ministries offers several programs to serve the Greater Greer community with dignity. Here’s how we help:

▪️Food Pantry, providing supplemental groceries and essential food items to individuals and families in need
▪️Sharon’s Closet, offering clothing and basic essentials during times of hardship
▪️Meals on Wheels, delivering fresh, nutritious meals to homebound neighbors
▪️Senior Fellowship, bringing older adults together for activities, connection, and warm meals

A homebound neighbor might receive a nutritious meal and daily support through Meals on Wheels, while another household may stop by for supplemental groceries or clothing.

We are filled with immense gratitude as we celebrate the success of our 29th Annual Dick Brooks Honda Golf Tournament on October 9th! Thanks to the incredible generosity of our local businesses, organizations, sponsors, and individuals, we raised over $177,000 to support Meals on Wheels!

One of our biggest years yet, this incredible support will help provide 34,500 meals to neighbors in need. Every meal is a reminder that our community cares and that no neighbor should feel forgotten.

We are so blessed to see our community come together with such generous hearts to support our mission. A heartfelt THANK YOU to all our sponsors, donors, and volunteers who made this event possible and such a success. Your generosity is making a lasting difference in the lives of those we serve!

Thank you for helping us share God’s love through service, compassion, and hope!

If you'd like to continue to make an impact, we still have auction items available to bid on! All proceeds continue to support meals on wheels.

Thank you to the Azalea Garden Club for treating our seniors to a unique arts and crafts experience! We got to celebrate the colors of fall by making handmade cards and used brocolli 🥦 as our brushes! It was such a fun time!
We got to take our seniors out for lunch and finish with ice cream, what a perfect way to ring in the cooler weather that’s coming! 🫶
