Isolated strong to severe storms are possible through early evening, especially across the North Carolina Foothills & Piedmont. Another line is expected late this evening into tonight. Confidence on the severe threat with the second line is lower at this time.

On Thursday, C-Shift rotated through and did their annual boat operations training. Here are some pictures of them doing some boat flips. We will definitely have more to come. We would like to thank Black Wake Rescue for teaching this week.

Not a year goes by that we don't think of the gentlemen and brothers that were lost on this tragic day in Charleston. So much has changed in the fire service since this day as we've learned different things from this incident. We still pray for the families who were impacted by this tragic event.
