I really appreciate this page for continuously advocating for educational opportunities in the community. I recently watched a really great educational documentary called “Kiss the Ground” that I feel is worth sharing with other parents and educators. Narrated by Woody Harrelson, “Kiss the Ground” explores the potential ways we can give back to our environment, through clean eating and healthy agricultural practices. Scientific experts and celebrity activists like Tom Brady and David Arquette offer insight into their personal experiences with environmental health, while shining light on how we have the power to actually reverse climate change. It’s an easily accessible doc that is both entertaining and educational, so I wanted to share my experience. The full documentary is on Netflix, however, there is an edited version made specifically for students and teachers available for free on the “Kiss the Ground” movie website. Let me know what you think!

Hello, are you going to be posting news and updates about the state takeover of HISD? Concerned parents need information and transparency on this process, as it impacts us, especially when non-elected people are managing the process and taking over that process from elected officials. Where should parents go for more information? Thank you
Such a wonderful system to be apart of. There is so much information and programs so many can benefit from.
