Miller Outdoor Theatre’s historic second century is rolling on with an amazing lineup of completely free performances! ✨

Following $2 million in fresh upgrades, Houston’s favorite Hermann Park stage is packed with culture, music, and family fun through November. Coming up:

October: Festival Chicano, Accordion Kings & Queens, global dance, and a spooky Halloween weekend featuring Thriller on the Hill (Oct. 30) and a screening of Haunted Mansion (Oct. 31).
November: High-energy spectacles like Houston’s Got Bollywood – Bombay Express, Cirque Kalabante: Afrique, and more!
Grab a blanket, pack some folding chairs, and head to the Hill or covered seating for the best free entertainment in town.

Thanks to a powerful partnership including a $27M Kinder Foundation gift and a $10M federal grant, Phase 1 construction is officially underway. Get ready for:

A brand-new tennis clubhouse, 16 courts, and 8 pickleball courts
An inclusive playground and 3,000 new trees
Over 3 miles of new walking trails and sidewalks
Future Phase II pool, fitness center, and pavilion upgrades
While portions of the park are temporarily closed during construction, you can still enjoy nearby gems like Fonde Park, Smither Park, and Emancipation Park. Here’s to the next 100 years of community and green space in Houston Southeast!
