Starting in August, we'll now hold three ToxDrop days each month for the disposal of household hazardous waste. Beginning on August 22, the Perry Township Government Center will now host fourth Saturday ToxDrop service.

🌡️Today will not only be hot with heat indices above 105°, but also US National Weather Service Indianapolis Indiana is tracking the chance for storms. ⛈️

If you are able, limit your time outdoors to avoid heat-related illnesses. Also, make sure you have multiple ways to get weather alerts so you aware of any incoming severe weather.

Today will be hot and humid across much of central Indiana this afternoon into evening. With high temperatures in the low 90s and dew points around 80 we will see Heat Index Values approaching between 105 to 109°.

Take precautions if planning outdoor activities.

📚 Circle City Readers is hiring!

This high-dosage tutoring program is designed to support children's literacy and reading proficiency. The dedicated tutors who work with Indianapolis students are an important part of this program's ongoing success!

Tutors work 3-4 days per week during the school day. The position starts at $22/hour and includes training and ongoing support.
